Medical Spanish classes and programming for all of Boston's healthcare professionals
Medical Spanish Courses
Multiple levels of medical Spanish classes offered in collaboration with
MGH's Institute of Health Professions
The goal of these 5-week courses is to enable providers to connect with patients at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Each level shares core attributes that align with Continuing Education (CE) credit sought by a wide range of healthcare professionals:

Aim to develop knowledge of and skills in Spanish language to broaden healthcare professionals’ performance in providing services for diverse patient groups

Applicable to a range of healthcare professions including physicians, nurses, physician assistants, therapists, and many more

Built on specific and measurable learning objectives

Conversation and vocabulary driven, targeting medical terminology and vital communication structures through interactive activities

Section 1: Saturdays 9:00am - 10:00am & Tuesdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Section 2: Saturdays 10:00am - 11:00am & Tuesdays 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Section 3: Saturdays 11:00am - 12:00pm & Tuesdays 9:00pm - 10:00pm
Section 4: Saturdays 9:00am - 10:00am & Wednesdays 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Section 5: Saturdays 10:00am - 11:00am & Wednesdays 8:00pm - 9:00pm

Section assignments are generally based on level (a placement interview determines into which of 8 different levels students are placed), with Section 1 being the most beginner and Section 5 the most advanced.

$210 for IHP students, MGH staff, and all healthcare providers
