HEALTHCARE SPECIALISTS
Intensive medical Spanish courses highly targeted for specific healthcare fields.
Geared towards healthcare specialists, these medical Spanish courses include 5 hours of live online instruction and 5 hours of guided independent work. These intensive Spanish workshops build on existing Spanish language proficiency and focus on targeted use of the Spanish language to communicate with patients in specific fields. These workshops compliment our Online Medical Spanish Courses, which build Spanish skills to navigate broader healthcare settings. Certificates of Completion received after successfully completing the workshop.

Spanish for Pain Management Communication
Dates: January 7 and 14, 2024 (CLOSED)

Audience: All Sport Medicine, Labor and Delivery, Emergency Department healthcare professionals navigating and managing patients experiencing pain.
Communicative Focus: Describing a range of pain qualities, understanding patients' descriptions of pain.
Language Topics: Direct Indirect Object Pronouns, Commands, Conditionals.
Language Levels: Intermediate to Advanced Spanish speakers.

Audience: Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Athletic Trainers, and other clinicians diagnosing and treating patients with relevant conditions.
Communicative Focus: Communicating with patients to a) understand background, b) diagnose condition, c) explain exercises and activities to treat conditions
